FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, USA – On September 19, 6-8 PM, please join Childnet at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale for the “Forest of Families” reception. In the last 6 months, hundreds of Broward County families have made their own family totems or story poles. Artist Eduardo Gardin has created a unique spatial installation of the totems on the second floor of the museum. As an Art of Community project, the goal has been to expand the meaning of families to include foster care children. Register online at www.ChildNet.us as attendance is limited.
