Non-profit organizations are encouraged to post arts and cultural specific projects to power2give.org/broward. Between October 15 through December 15, any donations made by new donors will be matched 2:1 up to $10,000 by Community Foundation of Broward.
“Business for the Arts of Broward is thrilled to receive this generous contribution from the Community Foundation of Broward,” said Jarett S. Levan, chair of Business for the Arts Broward. “This is an innovative initiative designed to engage new donors. There are so many fantastic organizations in Broward that will benefit from the Community Foundation’s matching grant and at the same time these organizations will have the opportunity to cultivate new audiences. This is a big win for non-profits who are looking to expand their reach in the community.”
“Together with Business for the Arts Broward we want to connect first time donors with an organization that is looking to fund a dynamic new arts program,” said Linda Carter, president and CEO of the Community Foundation of Broward.
Visitors to the site can select a project that interests them and make a donation of as little as $5. With tools and resources for both donors and cultural organizations, power2give.org/broward makes posting, donating and promoting projects convenient and engaging.
