SAN ANTONIO, TX, USA — Local artist Sarah Brooke Lyons is working to showcase 1005 faces of the San Antonio’s diverse community through a personal photography project.
“I’m photographing a thousand and five people in San Antonio and everybody hold us a little sign and writes something on it and then all the images go into black and white,” she said.
She said it is her ultimate goal to turn the photos with their messages into large scale public art pieces across the city and share San Antonio’s diversity for all to see.
“I’ve learned we are very interesting here in San Antonio and there’s lots of people with great stories and great ideas and great faces,” she said.
